Introducing the Scanitruk Heavy Goods Transport (HGT) Division
For nearly a century, truck drivers have been the unsung heroes of the global economy. Every mile driven and every gear shifted contributes to the growth, development, and economic resilience of communities worldwide. At The Scanitruk Company, standard goods deliveries have long been the heartbeat of our operations.
But as civilizations grow, so do their ambitions. Behind every new skyscraper, bridge, and industrial complex lies a logistical challenge that goes beyond standard pallets. To build from the ground up, you need more than just a truck; you need serious power.
Why We’re Leveling Up
While our drivers are no strangers to construction equipment, we’ve reached a turning point. Transporting massive infrastructure components with standard long-haulers is like asking a marathon runner to carry a piano. It’s possible, but the strain on the equipment and the overhead costs are significant.
We’ve looked toward the horizon and realized that “bigger” isn’t just a preference; it’s a necessity. To better serve the global economy and handle the “extreme” side of logistics, we’re evolving. We believe the real work is handled by the “big boys and girls” of the road, and it’s time we gave them the right tools for the job.
Introducing Scanitruk Heavy Goods Transport (HGT)
We are thrilled to officially announce the launch of our first-ever subdivision: Scanitruk’s Heavy Goods Transport (HGT) division.
This isn’t just a new coat of paint. The HGT division is a dedicated branch specifically engineered to handle loads in excess of 35 tonnes and specialized transport operations. From industrial transformers to oversized construction machinery, HGT is designed to take on the jobs that make standard rigs sweat.

The Iron: Meet the Fleet
A heavy load requires a heavy-duty solution. We aren’t just sending our standard fleet into the fray; we’ve commissioned specialized units fitted and reinforced for extreme durability.
The European Powerhouse
Upon launch, our European division will deploy at least two heavy transport units. We’ve selected the 2026 Scania 770S V8 lorries for this task. These aren’t your average trucks; they’ve been upgraded with:
- Heavy Haul Packages: Reinforced chassis for maximum structural integrity.
- Extra Axles: Enhanced weight distribution to protect the tarmac and the cargo.
- The V8 Engine: Massive torque and enough power under the hood to ensure point A to point B is a guaranteed victory, no matter the incline.
The American Legend
Stateside, we’re bringing some muscle to the highways later this year. Our American division will receive the iconic Kenworth W900, outfitted with the same heavy-duty fitments as its European cousins. The W900 is a legend for a reason, and in its HGT configuration, it will be an absolute force on the interstate.
Stay in the Loop
We know you’re eager to see these beasts in action. While we haven’t set a hard “ribbon-cutting” date just yet, the HGT division is moving fast.
